We're delighted to be back open at Spring Cottage B&B after being closed for a bit of maintenance. Local Cob and Lime specialist Leslie Cornnell fixed our leaky chimney. His expert team of restorers also removed all the cement based plaster in the dining room taking it right back to bare cob then applied a breathable lime render. They opened up the 1980's fire place revealing an ingle nook dating from the late 1600's. We're over the moon with the result.

The old plaster was removed right back to the Cob. Cob is basically a mixture of stones and mud!
